September14th, 2007- Call for Submissions

October 15th,2007 Mini Grant Applications Deadline Due Date
:Please apply on-line and mail to Service-Learning Program with Signatures by 4:00 P.M. on Monday.

October 30th, 2007- All Grantee Orientation Meeting 3:45-6:00 P.M.

November 29th, 2007 - Service-Learning Training: Time and location is to be announced.

December 6th, 2007- Service-Learning Support Meeting:
Time and location TBA.

December 14th, 2007 -Second Round of Mini Grants Deadline Due Date

January 3rd, 2008- Second round of Grantee Orientation Meeting.

April 9-12th, 2008-  National Service-Learning in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

ConferenceKeynote Speakers: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Pedro Noguera, and Ronald Tschetter

 Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa will give a keynote address. NYLC is proud to partner with PeaceJam, YOUTHRIVE, and Metropolitan State University in hosting Archbishop Tutu. Also offering keynote addresses at this year’s conference will be urban educator Pedro Noguera, author of Unfinished Business: Closing the Achievement Gap in Our Nation's Schools, and Peace Corps Director Ronald Tschetter. 



May 22nd, 2008: Service-Learning Program Annual Celebration at the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center for Community Building.

Evaluation Reports due by inner office mail, post mail and/or

Reimbursement receipts are due May 26, 2008 with the Reimbursement form
( please make sure that you download and follow the Proper Procedures for Reimbursement form) to ensure that you get reimbursed. Attention: Roxie Laugeson.
