Service-learning  Program has developed guidelines available for academic service-learning. Use the Guideline and Standards as a tool to help you assess whether or not your project meets the core principles of academic service-learning. The new academic service-learning guidelines places a top priority on academic service-learning experiences. It has been demonstrated that  academic service-learning is an important pedagogical tool that can help enhance classroom learning.

In developing a service- learning project, you can access the Service-learning  Program for resources to locate community partners that will work with students. Also access the  Service-learning Calendar, which will list service-learning opportunities, events, trainings, conferences, etc. throughout the year.
