Mini Grant Standards and Eligibility Guidelines 2008-2009
* We are looking for more creatively diverse service-learning projects across the academic curriculum*


All Projects MUST meet all requirement components in order to be considered for funding:

  1. Each Project must be tied to the Saint Paul Curriculum and/or Minnesota State Academic Standards.

  2. Applicants must be a Saint Paul Public Schools teacher, staff, or student(s).

  3. Projects that involve collaboration and education with others in the community are highly encouraged.

  4. The project must fulfill the K-12 Service-Learning Standards for Quality Practice 2008.
     5.  Repeat projects must show growth on the spectrum of service-learning. 

Groups and projects that are not eligible include:

  • Projects which are strictly service or community service without the service-learning component.

  • Organizations outside of Saint Paul Public Schools.

Non-eligible groups or individuals are encouraged to partner with a qualified applicant. Contact the Service-Learning Program if this applies to you and you would like to work with qualified applicants.
